In March of 2012, we sensed God was speaking to us about doing something more to reach people with the Gospel.  As we prayed, we sensed God’s leadership in planting a LifePoint campus in Mount Vernon.  In September of 2012, we sent a team of 7 adults to begin developing relationships and building a launch team in the Mount Vernon area. As the team began to cultivate relationships in the community and hold monthly interest meetings, God blessed us with new relationships and the financial resources necessary to begin meeting publicly.  After five monthly interest meetings, the team felt prepared to launch weekend gatherings.

On February 17, 2013, LifePoint MV had its grand opening.  It was an incredible day…God had allowed our small core team to launch a brand new campus with 200 people!  But we know God isn’t done writing this story.  We exist to draw life from God and point people to Him…and there are many people in central Ohio who aren’t living this vision.  Our prayer is that God would continue to bring people to Himself — through both our Olentangy Campus and our Mount Vernon Campus.  LifePoint MV currently meets at the movie theater in Mount Vernon at 10 AM on Sundays.
