As members of the Christian community and LifePoint Church we are a part of an exclusive team assembled by God to serve others in Delaware and Franklin County, the Midwest and the World. We are trustees of the great commission that God has set forth as a command for us as Christians
"to make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." (Matt. 28:19-20).
At LifePoint we believe, that it is our responsibility to uphold and build on this heritage by serving others from our neighborhoods to the nations. A short-term mission trip is a great opportunity to serve and grow in your relationship with God and to impact those around you. We would love to have you be a part of one of our local or international mission opportunities as we reach the world one life at a time.
You may be interested in local outreach opportunities, trips in the midwest, or one of our international trips to South Africa, Cuba, or Peru next year. You might also be interested to know that LifePoint gives 10 percent of our local giving to organizations and ministries outside our church. Every year we support benevolence ministries like Better Way Ministries in the Short North section of Columbus, new churches in Ohio and throughout the U.S. and disaster relief efforts and food and clothing for the poor all around the U.S. and the world through our affiliation with the International Mission Board of the SBC. When you give to LifePoint a portion of what you give goes to these ministries and toward helping many who are in need in our global community. In addition, we receive an annual offering for missions in the spring called the WOW Offering, which serves to remind us of the Wide-Open World that God has given us the opportunity to impact.
