Olentangy Campus Update 

On Sunday December 20th, we voted unanimously to take the next step towards securing the lease space.  As of now, our architect is off and running on the official drawings for the space.  Here’s what that means:

Back40

Our financial commitments to the Back40 project have become even more crucial now....we will plan the build out schedule on the income of those commitments.  It’s amazing how closely the pledged amounts are to what the budgeted costs will probably be...it would be an incredible blessing to take possession of the lease space and be debt free.  We are currently working to outfit our LifePoint Kids Space.  You can give specifically to buying kids tables, chairs, baby beds, a small sound system, staging, and supplies.  If you would like to give before the year’s end, it must be received by the office or post-marked by December 31st.  If you have come to LifePoint in 2009 and were not part of the Back40 project, you can still give towards the project if you want...just note it in the memo line or give in the Back40 section online.  This is certainly one of (if not the) biggest faith steps we have taken together as a body...thanks for how you pray and for your faithfulness in giving above and beyond your regular tithes.

Opening Day

Here’s the big prayer request...please join me in praying that we will be able to occupy the lease space by or before Easter Sunday, which is April 4th this year.  So many things have to happen for that to take place.  It would be a God-sized undertaking to see that happen.  But please pray that we will have as much help as we need, favor with those folks who are in places of authority, and favor with those who can help us get materials at cost or better.  It’s like we talked about on Sunday the 20th...if we are going to pray, we might as pray big prayers!
